[MT-5C] Prompt 5: west continued.

Ghost makes it to the top of the stretch of climb. He did find something in the climb and looks it over, it seems to be a piece of stone scale he puts it away in gis bag to look at more later. He wonders if it is from the legend he remembers as he lays down for a rest, a story he heard one of the elders in town tell, it was a story of the water guardian and the fire guardian of the lands and how they loved each other with all their hearts but if the fire touched the water he would go out. The water guardian hated that he could not touch the one he loved. Over time they had come up with a plan.

What if they turned themselves into part of the land itself. First they tried using the land, the water guardian became the beautiful pool of water by the dragon statues they both loved and the fire guardian cooled himself into the lava rock surrounding him and the steps leading to his sparkling beauty. They also captured a part of themselves in the gems of the dragons eyes, fire becoming a ruby which if you look close enough seems to flicker with fire and radiates a touch of heat if you were to touch the stone. Water became a sapphire which looks like it moves like waves if the light catches it just so, and if you touched it would be cool to the touch.

Ghost wonders would he get to see this place? Is it real? What will he get to tell his friends when he goes home? Will he find love after placing his special stone? He will have to continue again soon. But for now he will have a short rest and watch the kites far off in the distance, perhaps Bumble made those with those who stayed behind.
